Rhyme time

Rhyme time!

Both rhyme and rhythm help children develop their language ability. Developing their ability to hear rhymes and syllables which all help when your child is ready for reading. Spend 10 minutes a day singing rhymes and you are getting them ready to be a reader, this is especially important for nursery children. Try to keep this at the same time to provide predictability for your child. You could use musical instruments, pots/pans from the kitchen or try making your own instruments to make the session more fun for your child.
