Minera School is being used as a Polling Station for the General Election tomorrow. Two exciting off-site activities have been planned:
- Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be visiting Greenacres Animal Park in Mancot. Please can children wear school uniform with comfortable footwear.
- Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 will be taking part in a sponsored walk to Nant Mill. Children can wear their own clothes for the walk.
As well as the off-site activities, a number of operational changes will happen during the day:
- Breakfast Club and After School Club will be open as usual and will be located in the Junior Classrooms. Please use the yellow door to drop off and pick up children.
- There will be no school meals unless you have already ordered a packed lunch via Parent Pay. Please provide your own packed lunch if you have not pre-ordered
- Please take care when parking dropping off and picking up times as we are expecting the Polling Station to be very busy.
Don’t forget on Friday 5th July, school is closed for a Staff Training Day.
Kind regards,
