Minera Voluntary Aided Primary School

Important information for parents

Dear Parent/Carer,

 

During the heavy rainfall this evening, unfortunately, our school hall and kitchen has been flooded. This has caused damage to both areas so they will be out of use for a short while until they have been cleaned and the damage assessed.

 

As a result, the following will happen tomorrow:

 

  • Breakfast Club will be based in the Junior Area. No breakfast will be served.
  • Year 1 and 2 Family Service will be postponed due to the damage in the hall.
  • No school lunches will be served - please could all children bring in a packed lunch and a drink. Children will eat their lunches in the classroom areas.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this disruption. I will keep you updated with this situation.
