Just a reminder that we are holding our Ash Wednesday Service tomorrow at St Mary's Church starting at 10am. The service will be led by Year 6 and Rev Harris. Everyone is welcome to join the congregation.
Please can all children make sure they bring a waterproof coat to school tomorrow incase it rains for our walk up to St Mary's.

Children accompanied by parents or other adult relatives are welcome for an afternoon of craft activity on a Christian theme linked, followed by a short act of worship. Food and drink provided.
We have a busy half term planned and would like to share the following key dates with you.
March
· 1st – Ash Wednesday Service at St Mary’s Church starting at 10am.
· 3rd – School Eisteddfod. Children can wear Welsh Costume (traditional, rugby, football kits or anything red etc). Year 5/6 Swimming Starts
· 10th – World Book Day. Children can dress up as their favourite book character
· 23rd – Non Uniform Day. Bring items for Bingo Night and School Council Film Night
· 31st – Easter Bingo at 6pm
April
· 5th – Friends of Minera Easter Disco
· 7th – Palm Sunday Service at St Mary’s Church and School Closes for Easter Holidays
Please note our Eisteddfod and World Book Day are on different dates to other schools.

Tomorrow is World Thinking Day. It has been celebrated since 1926 and is a day of international friendship. To celebrate this special day, children can wear Brownies, Cubs, Beavers uniforms to school.
It will be normal uniform for everyone else.
Thank you to everyone who came along to our Parents Evening's this week. I hope you enjoyed looking at your child's books and discussing progress and next steps with teachers.
If you were unable to attend Parents Evening, please make an appointment with your child's teacher and they will be happy to meet with you.
