• Education Visit to Chester Zoo - Monday 16th January 2023

  Dear Parent/Carer,

   

  We have arranged for a visit to Chester Zoo for children in Reception, Year 1,  Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 on Monday 16th January 2023.

   

  Children will leave school promptly at 9:00 a.m. and return to school at around 3:00 p.m. Children can order a school dinner as usual but this will be a packed lunch. If you wish to order a packed lunch for the day of the visit, please indicate this below. Please remember to also order the dinner on ParentPay as usual. 
  
  Children will need to wear normal school uniform. They are able to take a snack and a drink in a small bag that they can carry themselves.
  
  There will be an opportunity to buy souvenirs in the shop. We suggest that children bring between £5 and £10 in an envelope clearly labelled with their name.
   

  This is a free visit with no cost to parents/carers as we have been lucky enough to secure free zoo tickets for this visit and school will fund the transport costs.

• WATER UPDATE 6:20PM

  Dear Parent/Carer,

   

  Seven Valley Trent Water Company have been on site all day but unfortunately they have not been able to fix the issue and the school still does not have any water supply.  Another crew will be on site during the night, but they haven't guaranteed an arrival time or whether they will be able fix the issue. 

   

  It is a difficult one call as to whether we will be open tomorrow or not. I will be able to inform everyone by 7:15am at the latest whether we will be open or closed for all pupils. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this issue, but it is completely out of our hands. 

   

  Fingers crossed they will be able fix the issue overnight and we will be able to open as normal tomorrow.
