  • Friends of Minera Meeting - Wednesday 26th April at 3:30pm

    Just a reminder, the next Friends of Minera Meeting is on Wednesday 26th April at 3:30pm (tomorrow). We will be planning our summer term events. Everyone welcome.

  • Palm Sunday Service

    Just a reminder that tomorrow morning we will be holding our Palm Sunday Service at St Mary's Church in Minera. We will be walking up to Church at 9:30am with the service starting at 10am. Everyone is more than welcome to join us at St Mary's.

    Thank you to everyone who supported our recent bingo evening and disco events. Both events were extremely popular and thoroughly enjoyable.

     

    The Friends of Minera raised £228.79 from both events.

     

    I would like to thank the Friends of Minera for organising these events and raising vital funds to help our children in school.

  • School Telephone Issue

    Following our recent office move, we are experiencing difficulties with the telephone and answer machine system. Mrs Wilson works on Monday, Tuesday and Friday and unfortunately nobody is able to answer phonecalls inbetween these times.

     

    If you need to leave a message, please contact school via email and we will respond to you a soon as possible.

     

    Please accept our apologies with the problems this causes until the issue resolved.

  • Last Week of Term

    As we enter the last week of term, I would just like to remind of what is happening this week in school.


    Wednesday 5th April

    • Swimming Gala - Please see letter for further details. We need help to transport children to the Gala. If you are able to help please contact Mr Barnes or myself.
    • Easter Disco - 4:30pm to 6:00pm. 4:30pm to 4:50pn Foundation Phase children only and then the Juniors can join in 4:50pm.
       

    Thursday 6th April

    • Football and Netball matches at Ysgol Clywedog.
       

    Friday 7th April

    • Palm Sunday Service at St Mary's starting at 10am. Everyone is welcome to join us for this special service.
    • 3:15pm - School closes for Easter holidays.

     

    School re-opens for children on Tuesday 25th April as Monday 24th April is a Staff Training Day.

  • School Meals Price Increase From 24th April

    From Monday 24th April, Wrexham County Borough Council will be increasing the cost of school meals.

     

    The new daily price of meals will be:

    Foundation Phase - £2.30

    Junior - £2.35
