    Dear Parent/Guardian,
    Annwyl Rhieni/Gwarchodwyr,

    Weather Watch

Snow has been forecast for Minera and the Wrexham area this week. Hopefully all will be fine but I just wanted to remind you of the contact details if we need to close school.

Every effort will be made to keep the school open, however the decision to close a school is never taken lightly and is only made after careful consideration of the many associated risks involved to pupils and staff.

    Many Thanks

    Mr Williams

Fri 09 Feb 2018 Mr Williams
The Friends of Minera are looking at two new ways to raise funds for the school:

    * Empties Please - pupils bring in used printer cartridges. They need to collect a bag from school and return to the box in the entrance area. School will be paid £1 for every cartridge recycled. It would be much appreciated if parents could ask friends, family and colleagues to pass on their empties to us.
They must be named cartridges, not the compatible type.

    * Bag2school - pupils take home a bag, fill it with unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, hats, scarves, ties, soft toys, household linen, curtains, towels and bedding and return to school on a designated day. School will be paid by the weight of the bags donated. Our first collection has been booked for Wednesday 14th March. Bags will be sent home after the half term holiday so please start collecting for us.

    Many Thanks
