    Dear Families,

Unfortunately, we have a number of staff and children absent from school this week with Covid.  This has had an impact on the daily running of the school and staff are doing everything to provide the best possible education for our children during this challenging time.

As a school community, we can all do our bit to help. We ask that you look out for the following 3 key symptoms of COVID-19 in your child:

    ·         a high temperature

    ·         a new, continuous cough

    ·         a loss or change to their sense of smell or taste

If your child has any of these three key symptoms, please do not send your child to school and arrange a PCR test for them immediately, unless they are under 5 years of age. You can book a PCR test online through the NHS website at gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test  or by calling 119. Anyone else in your household with any of these three key symptoms should also isolate and take a PCR test.

If any member of your household has tested positive for COVID-19, we also recommend that children over 5 should take a daily lateral flow test every day for seven days.

Please keep school informed of any positive Lateral Flow or PCR tests and the end date for isolation.

Thank you for your continued support,
